Hear and experience the philosophy known as the Aesthetics of Music in the Symbolism of Debussy, the Nationalism of Glinka, the folklore of Granados, and other composers. From the Ancient Greek philosopher Plato’s statement… “music has a direct effect on the soul” to the Romantic philosopher of the 1800’s, Thomas Carlyle’s statement, “Music is well said to be the speech of angels...”, we will put aside divergences of people in the world and come together thru the art of music!
