Youth Orchestra

The Youth Orchestra is an inclusive program designed to accommodate beginner through advanced students. Students will work on many exciting pieces and techniques necessary for orchestral playing.  Students are given the opportunity to take in the joy and fun of making music together, to gain confidence performing with others, and to experience how to play an important role as part of a group.  Practice and performance pieces include a mixture of classical, contemporary, pop and jazz music. This is a FREE public program offered through MCS. Annual registration fees apply.

Instrumental Ensemble

This ensemble provides an opportunity for students to focus on the art of small ensemble playing. Students will be pushed to expand their artistic understanding o fperformance repertoire. Master classes with guest artists and participation in the Young Artist Exchange Program may also be incorporated with this ensemble. 

Prerequisite: Audition Required.

Tuition: $50/sem
 

Children's Choir

This course instructs basic vocal technique such as proper breathing, posture, vowel formation, singing in parts and sight singing. A mostly classical repertoire is used, with selections from various languages.  Performance is a large part of this course. This is a FREE public program offered through MCS. Annual registration fees apply.

Ensemble Choir

This course instructs the singer in vocal technique, proper breathing, posture, vowel formation, singing in parts and sight singing. A mostly classical repertoire is used, and selections are from various languages. Performance is a large part of this course.  Students will receive group as well as solo instruction.
